FAQs

How much does it cost to enter?

The entry fee is £95 per entry.

 

Can I enter more than one award category?

Yes. You can enter as many award categories as you like. A separate entry fee of £95 applies to each entry.

 

Who can enter the Built Influence Awards?

The awards are open to marketing, communications and PR professionals working across the built environment, including in-house teams, agencies and organisations working across areas such as architecture, construction, property, interiors, engineering, consultancy and manufacturing.

 

How do I enter?

Simply visit our Entry Page and select the category you would like to enter. You will need to submit a PDF demonstrating how your work meets the relevant entry criteria, along with two supporting images. Should we believe your entry is more suited to another category, we will move it to the relevant category and inform you.

What should my entry include?

Your entry should demonstrate how your work meets the criteria for the category you've entered. Judges will be looking at factors including your objectives, clarity of thinking, creativity, ingenuity, budget and impact.

What is the deadline for entries?

The deadline for entries is 20 November 2026.

When will the shortlist be announced?

The shortlist is expected to be announced at the end of January 2027. We'll confirm the exact date as soon as possible.

 

When is the awards ceremony?

The awards ceremony will take place in the first week of March 2027. Further details, including the exact date and venue, will be announced soon.

What are the award categories?

You can find full details of all the award categories, including the entry criteria, on our Awards Categories page.

 

Can I enter a campaign that involved both an agency and an in-house team?

Yes. Where a campaign was delivered collaboratively, you can recognise the contribution of both the agency and in-house team within your entry.

 

Can I enter work that has already won another award?

Yes. We welcome all entries.

Who will judge the awards?

The awards will be judged by a panel of senior figures from across the built environment, marketing, communications, PR and the media. Details of our judges can be found on the Judges page.

How will entries be judged?

Entries will be assessed on factors including objectives and business context, clarity of thought, budget, ingenuity, creativity, execution and impact. We're interested in the quality and effectiveness of the thinking behind a campaign - not simply its size or budget.

I would like to sponsor an award. Who should I contact?

We're currently looking for partners to collaborate with and support the Built Influence Awards. For sponsorship enquiries, please contact info@builtinfluenceawards.com

Can agencies and in-house teams enter?

Yes. We welcome entries from both in-house and agency in the appropriate categories.

What period must the campaign have run during?

Your campaign or project must have been completed between March 2024 and July 2026.

Can I enter work completed outside the UK?

Yes. We welcome entries from across the world.

Can I save my entry and come back to it?

I’m afraid not. Please enter the awards when your PDF is ready for submission.

Is there a word limit for entries?

No, but please keep to 4 sides of A4.

Can I include links or video in my entry?

Yes. Please include in your PDF.

Will entries be kept confidential?

We will keep entries confidential but reserve the right to use images and synopsis for promotional purposes.

What happens after I submit my entry?

You will receive an email confirmation and your entry will be sent to the judges that are judging the category.

If my entry is not shortlisted, can I appeal?

The judge’s decision is final. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide any feedback.
